Chad Severson

Chad joined Ergotron in 2019 and was eager to lead an organization with an important mission centered on wellness and productivity. With key professional values of building trust, focusing on the end customer and fostering continuous improvement, Chad is well-positioned to drive a strategy of innovation and growth at Ergotron.

A graduate of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Chad began his career at Emerson following the completion of his Air Force commitment. He held roles in analysis, product management, sales and marketing before leading business units across multiple verticals, including HVAC, outdoor power, construction, automotive and consumer durables. As a leader, Chad focuses on team wins through organizational strategy, alignment, empowering employees and lean execution.

Chad also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Ohio State University. He has been married to his wife, Laura, for more than 30 years, and they reside in Mendota, Minnesota. They have three adult children and one grandchild who live across the United States. Chad enjoys reading, golf, tennis and when the weather cooperates, cycling.
